Fine Art Work Exhibition Opens at Mansudae Art Studio
Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- A fine art work exhibition is taking place at the Mansudae Art Studio on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's field guidance to the studio.

Displayed in the exhibition hall are more than 300 Korean paintings, oil paintings, graphic paintings, sculptures, Korean jewel powdered paintings, handicrafts and embroideries. They depict the revolutionary feats performed by President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk and their noble personality, the service personnel and people working hard to build a thriving nation and beautiful landscapes of the country.

Also on display are miniatures of the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum and the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery guided by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Korean painting "Picturing to Himself Morrow of the Country Which Won in the War " and oil paintings "Long Journey for Songun" and "Sobaek Stream in February" praise the feats the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu performed by leading all the service personnel and people to a brilliant victory.

Among the works on display are oil paintings "A Letter of Pledge" and "Eternal Tribute", woodcuts "War Veteran's Recollection" and "Hill on Which Martyrs Lead an Eternal Life", acryl painting "Fireworks for Victory in War" and embroidery "Recollecting Native Place." They depict the feats the heroic soldiers of the Korean People's Army performed by bringing about July 27, the day of victory, under the leadership of Kim Il Sung.

There are also art works dealing with the fighting spirit and traits of the Korean people creating miracles and innovations in building an economic power, joy and optimism of the Korean people, youth and children leading an abundant and highly civilized life under the care of the socialist homeland and the Juche-based fine art developing day by day.
