Message to Kim Jong Un from Ukrainian Party Leader
Pyongyang, August 7 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, received a message of greeting from Petro Nikolayevich Symonenko, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Ukrainian Communist Party, on July 27.

The message extended heartfelt congratulations to Kim Jong Un and all the friendly working people of the DPRK on behalf of the Central Committee of the Ukrainian Communist Party and its first secretary on the occasion of the day of the victory in the 1950-1953 Fatherland Liberation War, the auspicious holiday.

The people of the DPRK, who have surely won victory in the struggle against world imperialism for six decades, are confidently building a new rosy future, steadily consolidating the gains and achievements made by the great victory under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea, it noted.

The message stressed that Kim Jong Un, leader of the party, the army and the people, has remained true to his faith and the interests of the people of the DPRK despite the most complicated situation.

It went on:

Your caliber, confidence, purposefulness and ability to make a constructive and wise decision are steering all working people of the DPRK to a fresh victory.

We admire your political caliber and are highly proud to say that you are the leader of the most advanced power in Far East.
