Kim Yong Nam Meets Syrian PM, High-ranking Officials of Iran, Cuba
Tehran, August 4 (KCNA Correspondent) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, who is on a visit to Iran to take part in the presidential inaugural ceremony of Iran, respectively met and had talks with Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, chairman of the Expediency Council of Iran, Wael Nader Al Halqi, prime minister of Syria, and Ricardo Cabrisas, vice-president of the Council of Ministers of Cuba, on August 3 and 4.

Rafsanjani said the future of the DPRK is rosy thanks to the leadership of HE Kim Jong Un.

He expressed belief that the Korean people with staunch fighting spirit would emerge victorious in the anti-U.S. struggle.

At the meeting the Syrian prime minister said Syria regards the DPRK as a military power with tremendous military force and a country of comrades-in-arms struggling against the common enemy.

He expressed profound thanks to the Korean people for supporting the struggle of the Syrian government and people.

Thanks to the wise leadership of supreme leader Kim Jong Un, the service personnel and people of the DPRK are resolutely foiling the U.S. moves to stifle it, he said.

The Cuban vice-president said the relations between the DPRK and Cuba are the deeply-rooted ones which stood all sorts of tests of history.

The fraternal peoples of Cuba and the DPRK will dynamically advance toward victory, supporting and helping each other in the future, too, he added.
