Anniversary of Korean People's Victory in War Observed in Foreign Countries
Pyongyang, August 5 (KCNA) -- A meeting, seminar, lecture and film show took place in Uganda, Guinea and Tunisia from July 25 to 27 on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

Present there were figures and other people of different social standings in those countries.

Leading members of the Ugandan National Resistance Movement and other people lauded President Kim Il Sung as an outstanding strategist and invincible and iron-willed commander, adding that the historic victory of the Korean people in the Fatherland Liberation War would have been unthinkable without the leadership of the President.

The chairman of the Ugandan National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea said at a seminar that the feats the President performed by defeating two imperialisms in one generation will go down in human history.

The Korean people led by him reliably protected the sovereignty and dignity of the country from the imperialists' ceaseless moves to stifle the DPRK, greatly encouraging the people of Uganda, he said, adding:

We will make positive efforts to study hard the principles of the Juche idea, Songun idea, and apply them to actual conditions.

The commander of the first commando force of the Almami Samori Toure barracks of the Guinean Army, after watching "The U.S. Imperialist Aggressors Provoked the Korean War", part 1 of the Korean documentary "The Fatherland Liberation War", said that the victory of the DPRK in the war was the shining fruition of the brilliant strategy and tactics, original war methods and superb commanding arts of the President.
