The paper carried a preface of its editorial board in the center of its first page under the title "Such people are invincible" illustrated with a photo of President Kim Il Sung standing at the tribune of honor of the Pyongyang mass rally celebrating the victory in the war.

The paper dedicated an article to Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un, the great leaders recognized by the whole world, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the war.

The paper said:

This special issue is not a mere manifestation of respect for the glorious and significant anniversary in the life of the Korean people.

Socialist Korea is standing as a firm and eternal bulwark and citadel and serves as a foundation of freedom, independence, and honesty and morality, social truth.

The DPRK is becoming a pride of not only the Korean nation but also of all progressives on this planet and shedding its rays as a star of great victory.

We are, therefore, following the successes achieved by the Korean people in the building of a thriving nation with respect, solidarity and hope and dedicate this special issue to the 60th anniversary of the great victory in the war, sincerely congratulating our most reliable friends.

The paper carried a poem titled "The ray of the great victory" together with portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and a portrait of Marshal Kim Jong Un on its second page.

It devoted its 8th, 9th, 12th, 13th and 15th pages to giving a detailed account of the greatness of the peerlessly great men and popular heroism of the Korean people accompanied by photos dealing with their exploits.

It allotted its 6th, 7th, 10th, 11th and 16th pages to photos of service personnel advancing southward, photos showing the defeat of the U.S. imperialists and articles titled "1950-1953 Fatherland Liberation War which should not be forgotten and is unforgettable", "War and its outcome" and "Deserved end of the aggressors".
