Speakers said that the project for improving four large rivers pressed ahead with by the Lee Myung Bak regime turned out to be a farce deceiving the people.

Fishes perished en masse in the rivers and trees along their banks died due to the project, seriously destroying the environment, they noted, calling for condemning and punishing Lee without fail in order to settle the problem.

They demanded the present regime launch a strict investigation into Lee's misrule.
