S. Korean Ruling Party Accused of Torpedoing Investigation into IS Case
Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) -- Civic, social and religious organizations in south Korea are strongly denouncing the south Korean "Saenuri Party" for torpedoing the state investigation into the case of the Intelligence Service's (IS) illegal interference in the election.

The Emergency Situation Council to Denounce the IS's Interference in Presidential Election which consists of at least 200 civic and social organizations held a press conference in Seoul on August 1.

At the conference the speakers deplored that the Special Committee of the "National Assembly" for State Investigation into the IS Case is on the verge of bankruptcy and the investigation has reached the phase where it is hard to achieve any aim in actuality.

The "Saenuri Party" is to wholly blame for this situation, they charged.

The Solidarity for Eliminating Discrimination against the Handicapped also held a press conference in Seoul that day. It warned that the present regime would face strong resistance of the people if it attempts to cover up the IS's violation of democracy.

More than 30 believers affiliated to the Catholic Joint Measure Committee against IS's Interference in Election held a prayer meeting at Chonggye Plaza in Seoul on the same day censuring the crime of the "Saenuri Party".
