Japan's War Criminal Enterprise Urged to Make Reparation
Pyongyang, August 2 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Citizens Council with Grand Mothers of "the Volunteers Corps" and the Mutual Aid Association for Victims of Crimes of the Japanese Imperialists issued a joint statement on July 30 demanding a Japanese war criminal enterprise make a reparation for the past crimes.

The statement recalled that the Pusan High Court ruled that day that the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries of Japan should make reparation to the victims who were taken to Japan for forced labor under the rule of the Japanese imperialists.

The victims have long sued the Japanese enterprise for damages but it has insisted that it is not obliged to make any reparation.

The Japanese enterprise should abandon the right of final appeal related to the recent judgment, said the statement.

The statement urged the south Korean "government" to take a necessary measure.
