In the message the Zambian president extended sincere congratulations to Kim Jong Un on behalf of the people and government of Zambia on the important occasion of the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

Noting that Zambia and the DPRK have developed strong bonds of friendship, maintaining warm and close relations for decades, the message expressed the sincere wish to boost these relations in the mutual interests of the two countries.

Pointing out that the two countries have a history of the common struggle for sovereignty and independence and their accomplishment of this cause was to achieve freedom for the peoples of the two countries, the message expressed the hope that the two countries would continue pushing forward the cause of achieving lasting world peace and peaceful solution of international disputes.

The Zambian president sent Kim Jong Un best wishes for his good health and success in his state affairs.
