Rodong Sinmun says that the Korean women's movement victoriously advanced under the wise guidance of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il. The paper went on:

Kim Il Sung provided the precious experience of the Juche-oriented women's movement amid the flames of the anti-Japanese war, successfully solved the issue of the woman's emancipation on legal and institutional basis and wisely led the women to wage the dynamic struggle for the freedom and independence of the country and for the building of new society.

Kim Jong Il put his great efforts and soul into the development of the women's movement out of his noble idea that the Korean women should be an example of the world women in their ideological and mental aspects and in the fighting mode, lifestyle and cultural level.

He put the female service personnel forward as the staunch revolutionaries and brought up a lot of women to be the merited persons of the Songun era by providing field guidance. The Korean women could creditably fulfill their responsibility and role for the times and revolution under his care.

Today the Juche-oriented women's movement is enjoying the best time of its development under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

Minju Joson noted that all the women should accelerate today's general advance for the country's prosperity under the leadership of Kim Jong Un and thus demonstrate their indomitable mettle to the world.
