Japanese Right-wing Element's Sophism Slammed
Pyongyang, July 28 (KCNA) -- The Japanese consul-general in Los Angeles in a contribution to a U.S. newspaper on July 21 said that Japan finished apology and reparation for its past war crimes and that it is wrong to assert that Japan failed to repent of cruel atrocities it committed during the Second World War and to make reparation for victims.

He was so impudent as to say that Japan has provided compensation to the victims who were sexually abused by the Imperial Japanese Army and rendered efforts for medical aid and welfare for them.

In this regard Koreans in the U.S. denounced Japan for killing innocent people and forcing hundreds of thousands of Korean women into sexual slavery during the Second World War. This was atrocities unprecedented in history, they added.

Questioning how the word "apology" can supersede Japan's criminal history, they said the consul-general should shame to tamper with history.

They urged Japan to mirror the crime-woven past in its textbooks to teach the present and future generations correct history.
