Noting July 27 this year is the 60th anniversary of the Armistice Agreement which is little short of a document of surrender to the U.S. which attempted to stifle the independent DPRK, the National Salvation Front of Russia in its statement said:

Under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung the service personnel and people of the DPRK inflicted an ignominious defeat upon the U.S.

The DPRK which achieved a great victory in the war has made the U.S. tremble with fear, foiling its every move of aggression.

We extend warm congratulations to the entire Korean people who are greeting the significant anniversary of victory in the war.

We are convinced that it is not long time off for the Korean people to live in a reunified country.

The Poland branch of the Korean Friendship Association noted the U.S. imperialists mobilized huge forces of aggression and employed all sorts of barbarous means and methods in the Korean war to bring the Korean people into submission.

The exploits Generalissimo Kim Il Sung, an invincible and iron-willed commander and legendary hero, performed by leading the war to victory will be eternal, it stressed, adding:

The Korean people's victory brought about the beginning of a downhill turn for U.S. imperialism and ushered in a new era of global anti-U.S. struggle.

Popular heroism displayed by them will always be remembered by the progressive mankind.

The U.S. should immediately withdraw its forces from south Korea, dismantle the "UN Command" and conclude a peace treaty with the DPRK.
