DPRK Supported by Nigerian Organization
Pyongyang, July 28 (KCNA) -- The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea posted an article titled "Broken armistice: war or peace" on its website on July 12 on the occasion of the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle.

The website in an article subtitled "Armistice is not a peace" noted the state of armistice has prevailed on the Korean Peninsula for six decades. It added:

The DPRK has long made sincere efforts to replace the Armistice Agreement (AA) by a peace treaty.

However, the U.S. has totally negated and denied it.

Its ulterior design is to look for a chance to ignite a new war and occupy the whole of Korea while maintaining the state of ceasefire.

Referring to such incidents as the U.S. spy ship Pueblo, large-size spy plane EC-121 and Panmunjom incident, it said the U.S. shifted the blame for all those cases onto the DPRK and attempted to ignite a war against it.

Another article subtitled "Armistice has already been destroyed" referred to the fact that the U.S. has systematically violated the AA and, in particular, introduced even troops from its satellite countries into the recent joint military drills with south Korea.

Entirely just was the solemn declaration of the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army that AA will be totally nullified under such serious situation, it noted.

Noting the DPRK's choice is clear as the U.S. has made a provocation, an article subtitled "War or peace" said it is an invariable stand and steadfast way of counteraction of the service personnel and people of the DPRK to counter the enemies' war of aggression with a war of justice, dagger with a sword and rifle with a gun.
