Indian National Seminar Marks Anniversary of Korean People's Victory in War
Pyongyang, July 28 (KCNA) -- A national seminar took place in New Delhi on July 20 under the sponsorship of the Indian preparatory committee for celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.

On display in its venue were photos showing the exploits President Kim Il Sung performed by leading the war to victory and Songun revolutionary leadership feats of leader Kim Jong Il and the dear respected Kim Jong Un. Also displayed there were books introducing the greatness of the illustrious commanders of Mt. Paektu.

Speeches were made by some personages including Vishwanath, secretary general of the International Kim Il Sung Prize Council and the International Kim Jong Il Prize Council and director general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, Harish Gupta, director general of the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea, S. P. Pathak, chairman of the Indian Society for the Study of Works of Kim Jong Il, and Sadhna Harish, chairwoman of the Indian Study Group of Songun Politics.

The speakers said it was thanks to the outstanding strategy and tactics and original war methods of President Kim Il Sung, an invincible and iron-willed commander, that the DPRK could beat back the U.S. which claimed to have suffered no defeat in wars.

Thanks to the superb commanding art of the President, the Korean people shattered the myth of "mightiness" of the U.S. which boasted of being the "strongest" in the world and brought about the beginning of a downhill turn for it, they said, adding the undying military exploits of the President will shine long in the world history of struggle against imperialism.

Rosy is the future of the DPRK as it is led by supreme leader Kim Jong Un, who has successfully carried forward the revolutionary cause of Juche and Songun pioneered by Kim Il Sung and inherited and developed by leader Kim Jong Il. The Korean people will always emerge victorious and demonstrate honor in building a thriving socialist nation and carrying out the cause of national reunification, they said.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.
