Jonsung Revolutionary Museum Renovated in DPRK
Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- The Jonsung Revolutionary Museum has been renovated as required by the new century. The museum is associated with the undying feats of the great Generalissimo Kim Il Sung.

It has been rebuilt on an expansion basis as befits a center for education in his greatness. The system and form of displaying historic relics and data have been further completed so as to show well the feats Kim Il Sung performed by winning a victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

Displayed in the front hall of the museum is a photo of Kim Il Sung examining and ratifying the document of the Armistice Agreement.

New exhibits include photos "The Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung Bringing About a Brilliant Victory in the Fatherland Liberation War" and "The Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung Giving Teachings on Increasing Production of Ordnance".

Inner rooms of the museum have been spruced up on the principle of preserving and managing revolutionary relics, and historic relics and data supplemented and the building of the museum renovated to its original state.

Among them is a historic datum on the undying leadership feats and personality of Kim Il Sung giving teachings while receiving farmer Yun Ok Gi who attended the national meeting of active farmers.

There are also a scene of documentary film showing Kim Il Sung making a speech at the Pyongyang city mass rally for celebrating the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War, posters created during the war under his leadership and multi media showing the policies of the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK government on stabilizing the people's living.

More than 100 pieces of relics were discovered to be put on display.

A room used as office by Kim Il Sung during the war, a house where he guided the work of the Military Commission, a house where he examined and ratified the document of the Armistice Agreement, a pit where he worked, etc. have been renovated to their original state.

A general lecture hall has also been expanded, giving a face-lift to the museum.
