CPV War Veterans Delegation Here

| Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- A delegation of war veterans of the Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) headed by Yu Zhenwu, former commander of the Air Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, arrived here on Thursday to take part in the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War. It was greeted at the airport by Yang Hyong Sop, vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, Kim Song Nam, vice department director of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, Pyon In Son, vice-minister of the People's Armed Forces, Liu Hongcai, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, and staff members of his embassy. The guests were presented with bouquets by soldiers of the Korean People's Army (KPA). KPA soldiers and people in the city warmly welcomed them at the airport. |
