Kim Il Sung's Feats in War Praised by Russian Newspapers
Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- Russian newspapers dedicated special write-ups on July 17 and 18 to the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.

The Russian newspaper Nakhodkinski Rabochi carried articles illustrated with photos of smiling President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and pictures documenting the revolutionary activities of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The paper in an article titled "Iron-willed brilliant commander" noted that the young DPRK made a miracle unknown by the history in the confrontation with the U.S. that boasted of being "the strongest" in the world, troops of its 15 following countries, the south Korean puppet army and remnants of the Imperial Japanese Army 60 years ago, adding that it was Kim Il Sung, the founder of socialist Korea, who wrought the miracle.

The Russian newspaper My Home-Sochi carried an article titled "Generalissimo Kim Il Sung" illustrated with a photo of the smiling President and pictures dealing with the revolutionary activities of Kim Jong Un.

Kim Il Sung created various military methods in each period and at each stage of the war, enabling the Korean army to wipe out the enemy's forces nonstop.

The U.S. advantages in military technique were completely shattered by the military methods of Kim Il Sung, who always held the initiative in the war and endlessly changed his tactics.

At last the U.S. was compelled to kneel down to the Korean people.

The miraculous victory achieved by the Korean people in the Korean war was a fruition of the outstanding strategy and tactics, unique military methods and arts of command possessed by Kim Il Sung.

The Russian newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda in its article illustrated with photos documenting Kim Il Sung's revolutionary activities praised the immortal exploits of the iron-willed brilliant commander who led the battle for liberating Taejon to victory and set a brilliant example of the modern siege warfare.
