Korean People's Victory in War to Be Celebrated in Cambodia

Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee of the Khmer Democratic Party was inaugurated in Cambodia on July 21 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.

Ouk Phurik, president of the Party, was elected the chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee decided to set the days from July 21 to 31 as a celebration period and widely introduce the feats performed by President Kim Il Sung in the Fatherland Liberation War and his immortal exploits in the development of the friendly and cooperative relations between the DPRK and Cambodia, and organize colorful political and cultural events during the period.
