Kim Il Sung's Exploits in War Praised by Foreign Newspapers
Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- Newspapers of various countries dedicated special write-ups to the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.

The July 19th issue of the Lao newspaper Pasason carried an article titled "A rare strategist" illustrated with a photo of President Kim Il Sung.

The Korean people's victory in the 1950-1953 Fatherland Liberation War would be unthinkable without the rare strategy of the President.

Soon after the outbreak of the war, he issued an order to frustrate the invaders' offensive and make a prompt counteroffensive.

By his order the Korean People's Army liberated Seoul, a bulwark of the enemies, only 3 days after the start of war.

The world history of wars does not know such an example of a country repelling the enemies' attack at the beginning of the war and turning the tide of the war.

The paper conveyed in detail the fact that the KPA won one victory after another in every phase of the war and achieved the final victory as the President set forth his unique war methods.

The July 18th issue of the Indonesian newspaper International Media allotted one whole page to photos of President Kim Il Sung and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The paper in its article titled "60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War" said that the U.S. imperialists ignited an aggressive war against the young DPRK 60 years ago and mobilized a lot of arms but they suffered a bitter defeat. Still they are pursuing the hostile policy to the DPRK.

The July 19th issue of a Nepalese newspaper carried an article titled "The battle for liberating Taejon" illustrated with a photo of Kim Il Sung.

The paper introduced the battle for liberating Taejon which was called by world militarists a successful example of the modern siege warfare, noting that the DPRK wrought a lot of military miracles in the past Korean war in which the myth of the U.S. "mightiness" was completely shattered.
