New Postage Stamps Issued in DPRK
Pyongyang, July 24 (KCNA) -- The State Stamp Bureau of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea has recently issued new postage stamps (two sheets, a sheetlet and an individual stamp) on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War (June 25, 1950-July 27, 1953).

Seen in the upper part of each stamp are letters "In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War" and "Juche 42 (1953)-Juche 102 (2013)".

The sheets feature a picture of President Kim Il Sung delivering a radio address titled "Go All Out for Victory in the War" on June 26, 1950 and a picture of him making a speech at the Pyongyang city mass rally held in celebration of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War on July 28, 1953.

Also printed in them are a picture of servicepersons advancing southward during the war and a picture of those in the military parade celebrating the war victory.

The sheetlet carries a picture of Kim Il Sung planning a new round of counter-offensive for reversing the war situation during his stay in Kosanjin, Manpho City, Jagang Province and a picture of him meeting with meritorious soldiers, including heroes of the republic.

It pictures cars the President used in wartime, score of wartime song "To a Decisive Battle" and Korean People's Army soldiers in fighting battles.

The individual stamp has a picture of the main sculpture "Victory" of the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Memorial Tower, with letters "July 27, Victory Day".
