The performance started with chorus "July 27 March". Put on the stage were colorful numbers given by members of art groups of institutions, industrial establishments and universities in the city including Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill, Pyongyang Department Store No. 1, Pyongyang Children's Foodstuff Factory, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Kim Hyong Jik University of Education and Kim Chol Ju University of Education, members of art groups of war veterans and the city art squad.

In such numbers like poem and story "Banner of Victory", male solo and small chorus "Marshal Kim Il Sung Is Our Supreme Commander", the performers praised the feats of war victory by the great Generalissimo Kim Il Sung, who defeated the U.S. imperialist allied forces and set a shining example in the revolutionary war against imperialism.

War veterans put on the stage male chorus "Song of National Defence", mixed chorus "The Dear Home in My Native Village". Appreciating the songs, the audience extended hearty salute to the victors of the great annals.

Also put on the stage were narration and Oungum ensemble "When We Sing of Songun", trio poem "Endless Songun Journey of the General", agitation and song "Peace is Guaranteed by Our Arms", drum and song "At a Go" and dance "Triplets Leaving for Post".

The performance represented the revolutionary will of all service personnel and people to carry forward the July 27 of war victory into a grand war for the country's reunification.

Appreciating the performance were Kim Ki Nam, secretary of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, and others, war veterans, officials and other people, youth and students of the city.
