Kim Il Sung's Exploits Performed for Victory in War Praised in Myanmar, Indonesia
Pyongyang, July 23 (KCNA) -- Personages of Myanmar and Indonesia made public statements on July 17 and 18 to mark the 60th anniversary of the Korean People's victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.

Than Tun, general director for Administrative Affairs of the Union of Myanmar Economic Holdings Limited, said in his statement:

The U.S. imperialists ignited a war against the less than two years old DPRK, but its army and people under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung, invincible and iron-willed commander, achieved shining victory by fully displaying patriotism and popular heroism.

After the war the Korean people turned the country into an invincible socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in defence, and a powerful nuclear weapons state under the leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

I am sure that the great idea and exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il will lead the army and people of the DPRK to a final victory.

We extend full support and firm solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle for building a thriving nation and achieving the reunification of the country under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

Shapril Arsiyad, chairman of the Indonesian Federation of Transport Workers Unions, said that the victory of the Korean people in the Fatherland Liberation War was a brilliant result of the outstanding strategies and tactics and unique military war methods of the President.

He went on:

The U.S. is still leaving no means untried to stifle the DPRK, straining the situation on the Korean Peninsula to an extreme phase.

The army and people of the DPRK led by Marshal Kim Jong Un who is carrying forward the Songun revolutionary cause of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il will surely defeat the U.S. imperialists and accomplish the cause of national reunification.
