Dismantlement of "UN Command" in S. Korea Demanded by British Organization
Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- The British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association released a statement on July 2 in demand of the dismantlement of the "UN Command".

The statement supported the DPRK's stand demanding the dismantlement of the "UN Command".

The "UN Command" in south Korea is a leftover of the Cold War and a tool for enforcing the U.S. neo-colonialist policy towards south Korea and invading the DPRK, the statement said, and went on:

In view of these facts the "UN Command" has no ground whatsoever to remain in south Korea.

It is a tool for war cooked up by the U.S. imperialists.

It poses a grave threat not only to the DPRK but to peace in Asia and the rest of the world.

The U.S. has persistently worked to stifle the DPRK for 60 years since the conclusion of the Korean Armistice Agreement.

The U.S. should conclude a durable peace treaty with the DPRK.

Dismantle the "UN Command" in south Korea at once!
