Delegation of Korean Youth and Students in Japan Meets with Former Unconverted Long-term Prisoner
Pyongyang, July 17 (KCNA) -- The delegation of Korean youth and students in Japan headed by Kim Tu Sop, vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the Korean Youth League in Japan, met with Choe Thae Guk, a former unconverted long-term prisoner, on Wednesday.

Choe said he could remain true to his revolutionary faith and principle despite enemies' harsh treatment behind bars in south Korea for decades because he had profound trust in the peerlessly great persons.

Leader Kim Jong Il put forward former unconverted long-term prisoners as heroes of the DPRK and winners of National Reunification Prize, Choe noted.

He called on youngsters of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) to prepare themselves to be patriots remaining loyal to the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.

An art performance was given by former unconverted long-term prisoners and their families and members of the delegation at the meeting.
