Rodong Sinmun Decries U.S. Mid-east Policy Aimed to Dominate World
Pyongyang, July 17 (KCNA) -- This year, U.S. high-ranking officials have frequented to the Mid-east region. U.S. President Obama visited the region as the first thing after starting another term of his office and the new secretaries of State and Defense also flew to the region.

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says in an article in this regard:

This reveals the U.S. impatient mind and sinister intention to realize the ambition to dominate the world.

If the U.S. fails to put the region under its control, it can not contain strategic competitive rivals nor realize its ambition to dominate the world.

The U.S. has stretched out its tentacles to the Mid-east region for decades as part of the moves to realize the domination.

It put much effort into the region, notably the ignition of wars in it. According to the plan touted by the U.S., the region should have already been brought under control. But the situation turned out to be different.

The Mid-east region placed the U.S. in an awkward position.

Iran's peaceful nuclear activities have been strengthened and war "against terrorism" started by the U.S. has triggered off the vicious cycle of terror and retaliation.

Israel carried out an air raid on Syria and has continuously expanded the construction of Jewish settlements in the land of Palestine in a provocative way, deteriorating the regional situation.

There is clear reason that the U.S. pays deep attention to the issue of the Mid-east region this year. Israel used to disturb the stability of the region at the instigation of the U.S.

If the U.S. fails to check Israel, the situation in the Mid-east region will lead to a catastrophe phase, provoking a backlash to the U.S. which patronized Israel.

The U.S. is persistently interfering in the Mid-east issue and steadily inciting Israel while working hard to realize the strategy to dominate the Asia-Pacific region. This indicates Washington's internal trouble.

Endless is the U.S. greed for hegemony.
