Pyongyang, July 17 (KCNA) -- There took place a meeting for solidarity with the Korean people outside the U.S. embassy in London on June 25 to mark the beginning of the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle.

Dermot Hudson, chairman of the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, said that the U.S. imperialists provoked the Korean war with an ambition to bring down the DPRK and hold hegemony over the world and committed brutal and inhuman atrocities unprecedented in the human history of war.

The Korean army and people turned out to defend the freedom and independence of the country, national sovereignty and gains of the revolution under the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung and inflicted a shameful defeat on the U.S. imperialists, he said, and went on:

The U.S. imperialists never drew a lesson from the defeat in the Korean war but have steadily posed grave threats to the sovereignty and supreme interests of the DPRK with the war racket.

History proves that they are the provocateurs of the Korean war and a root cause of all sufferings and misfortune of the Korean nation.

After the meeting booklets disclosing the U.S. criminal atrocities during the war were handed out to people.
