Remembrance Meetings Held Abroad
Pyongyang, July 14 (KCNA) -- Remembrance meetings took place in Russia, Britain and Italy on July 7 and 8 on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.

Michael Chant, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist), Andy Brooks, general secretary of the Central Committee of the New Communist Party of Britain, and other speakers praised Kim Il Sung as the distinguished leader of the world socialist movement.

They said it is the unanimous will of not only the Korean people but also the revolutionaries of the world to eternally hold him in high esteem as the leader of the revolution.

Roberto Gabriele, general secretary of the Movement for Peace and Socialism of Italy, lauded Kim Il Sung as the founder of socialist Korea, who founded the Juche idea and pursued the independent politics, and outstanding strategist and invincible and iron-willed commander who defeated two powerful imperialist enemies in one generation.

He noted that Kim Il Sung was a prominent leader who made immortal contribution to the global independence with the great idea and leadership ability with no one to match for on earth.

Matteo Carbonelli, secretary general of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, said that Kim Il Sung was a greatest man as he was possessed of humble, artless and kind-hearted traits.

He added that Kim Il Sung always lives in the hearts of the Korean people and progressive humankind just as the sun is eternal.

A message to the dear respected Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting in Russia.
