Cemeteries of Fallen Fighters of KPA Reconstructed in DPRK
Pyongyang, July 12 (KCNA) -- The cemeteries of fallen fighters of the Korean People's Army (KPA) in all parts of the country have successfully been reconstructed and their remains buried there on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

The cemeteries have new gateposts, gravestones, wreath-laying stands and education grounds.

Seen on left and right sides of the gateposts of each cemetery are KPA cap-badge and flag of the DPRK.

They bear letters "June 25, 1950" and "July 27, 1953."

Engraved on red marble wreath-laying stands are Medal of Hero of the Republic or KPA cap-badge and laurel.

Carved on the front side of the gravestones are words "Grave of Fallen Fighters of the Korean People's Army" and seen on their back side are the names and number of fallen fighters.

Buried at the cemeteries were remains of fighters of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces who laid down their lives for the Party, leader, country and its people.
