US Bombardment in Korean War, Unprecedented in History
Pyongyang, July 11 (KCNA) -- In the Korean War (June 25, 1950-July 27. 1953) the U.S. imperialists indiscriminately bombarded cities and rural communities in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, reducing all of them to ashes.

Declaring that it would stamp out 78 cities of the DPRK on the map, the U.S. dropped over 428,700 bombs in Pyongyang City alone during the three-year war, which accounted for more than one per citizen.

Schools and hospitals were not exception in the air raids.

It destroyed 4,879km of railroads, 4,009km of roads, 1,109km of bridges, 1,489 locomotives, 4,803 vehicles and more than 6,000 fishing boats and vessels, as well as many reservoirs and their facilities.

The bombings left 563,700 hectares of farmland ravaged, killing millions of domestic animals.

The damage was so devastating that the U.S. said the DPRK could not rise up again in 100 years.

The facts clearly show that the U.S. is the sworn enemy of the Korean people.
