Unbreakable DPRK-China Friendship: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, July 11 (KCNA) -- The DPRK and China are neighbors geographically close to each other and the DPRK-China friendship is an unbreakable one forged with militant fraternity in the days of the arduous struggle including the anti-Japanese war and the Fatherland Liberation War.

Rodong Sinmun Thursday says this in an article dedicated to the 52nd anniversary of the DPRK-China Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance.

The treaty was signed on July 11, 1961.

The DPRK-China friendship has developed in line with the desire and interests of the two peoples over the past 50 odd years, the article notes, and goes on:

The Korean people are rejoiced as over their own over the achievements made by the Chinese people in the efforts to build a comprehensively well-off society under the uplifted banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics.

The dear respected Kim Jong Un is paying deep attention to developing the bilateral friendly and cooperative relations true to the noble intention of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

He sent his special envoy to China, an expression of his fixed will to carry forward and boost the DPRK-China friendship provided and cultivated by the leaders of the elder generation of the two countries.

The Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people will as ever make positive efforts to boost the traditional DPRK-China friendship.
