Nature-remaking Project Progresses Apace in DPRK
Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- A project for reclaiming the Sepho tableland to be a giant stockbreeding base has made headway at fast speed in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The 600-meter-above-sea-level tableland, covering tens of thousands of hectares in Sepho, Phyonggang and Ichon counties, is now being turned into artificial and natural grass fields.

The reclaimers applied new methods to speeding up the project, which began in December last year, unfailingly carrying out weekly and monthly assignments.

They have manured grasslands with slaked lime and organic fertilizer and built up windbreaks.

Precedence has been given to road construction in the project.

The project includes the building of skiing and sleighing grounds, race course, ecological park, hostels and service facilities.

Inspired by the "Masikryong Speed", the builders there are putting spurs to carrying out the project, part of the grand nature-remaking plan of the Workers' Party of Korea, ahead of schedule.
