Looking round the briquette and steel sheet shops, he acquainted himself with briquette moulding and production capability and the issues arising in combining science and technology with production.

A consultative meeting of officials concerned was held on the spot.

The meeting discussed the measures to increase steel production by relying on the production foundation provided under the guidance of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and put the briquette moulding on a scientific basis.

Measures were taken to supply raw material and fuel to follow the maintenance of revolving furnace and successfully ensure conditions of scientific researches of scientists and technicians.

The premier called upon the workers of the complex to bear in mind the behests of Kim Il Sung who said iron and the machine are the king of industry, conduct a dynamic drive to create the "Masikryong Speed", increase production and thus respond with increased production of steel to the plan of the dear respected Kim Jong Un on building a thriving nation.
