Construction of Ski Resort on Masik Pass Makes Brisk Headway
Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- The overall work in the construction site of the ski resort on Masik Pass made progress two times as fast in the last month as that in the previous month thanks to the high-pitched drive of the soldier-builders there.

Marshal Kim Jong Un, supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, visited the construction site after initiating the construction of the world's best ski resort and assigning it to the KPA. He made public an appeal, encouraging the solider-builders to bring about miracles and leap forward.

The deep trust and care shown by him for them were the main source of strength that encouraged them to display the spirit of "At a go" in the construction site.

Thanks to the spirit of devotedly carrying out their tasks and indomitable spirit displayed by the soldier-builders, the laying out of 10 skiing courses has been wound up.

The project for widening roads, the construction of houses for dozens of families, etc. are progressing at a final phase.

The construction of an underground parking lot, hotel and dozens of other structures is also making rapid progress.

The soldier-builders wrought miracles in concrete tamping on pillars and floor block in the construction of the underground parking lot and other projects by introducing advanced construction methods with the same vim and vigor with which they pushed ahead with the project on Taehwa Peak.

They finished the construction of the structure of a bridge leading to a building in a matter of just five days.

The groundwork was completed in a short span of time in the construction site of the hotel to kick off a ground structure project. The construction of service and lodging quarters is also making brisk headway.

A project for reservoir excavation was finished and the plan for the construction of gate post of the ski resort, cableway control room, etc. was carried out more than 50 percent.
