Beninese Political Figure Censures U.S. for Starting Korean War
Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- Ali Houdou, chairman of the Benin Socialist Party, released a statement on June 25 to mark the beginning of the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle.

He recalled that the U.S., architect of the division of Korea, exerted all efforts for igniting the Korean war in a bid to put the whole of Korea under its control.

He cited facts to prove that the U.S. made thorough preparations for a war by mobilizing huge forces and combat equipment and instigated south Korea to perpetrate ceaseless armed provocations which eventually led to the start of the Korean war. It is an irrefutable historical fact that the U.S. ignited the Korean war more than six decades ago and it cannot evade responsibility for it, he noted, and continued:

It is the consistent policy of the U.S. to invade socialist Korea and expand the sphere of its domination.

The recent U.S.-south Korea joint military drills and exercises of U.S. latest nuclear striking means staged on the Korean Peninsula and in its vicinity indicate that the outbreak of a nuclear war by the U.S. is becoming an established fact.

All members of the Benin Socialist Party once again voice support and firm solidarity for the Korean people in their just cause of protecting the sovereignty of the country and building a thriving socialist nation.
