Rodong Sinmun Calls for Intensifying Anti-Imperialist, Anti-U.S. Class Education
Pyongyang, July 3 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Wednesday editorially calls for dynamically conducting class education under the uplifted banner of anti-imperialist and anti-U.S. struggle in order to further consolidate the socialist revolutionary position, the class position.

It says:

The Korean revolutionary ranks at present are made up mainly of those who have neither experienced exploitation and oppression nor undergone stern trials of war.

If the class education of those generations is neglected even for a moment, as they know what a war is like only by reading novels or watching films, their anti-imperialist and class consciousness will gradually wane and the history of the struggles for winning a victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War remain a past thing.

Succession to revolution means succession to ideology and spirit.

Only when the generation, who bravely fought the severe war, and the present younger generation struggle in the same spirit as displayed in the battle on the River Rakdong, can the Korean revolutionary ranks grow to be invincible ranks unshaken in any storm and stress and can society of the DPRK prove to be an impregnable fortress which no hostile class can dare infiltrate into.

The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet regime are now going reckless in the moves to pressurize and stifle the DPRK politically, militarily and economically, hurt its dignified system and destabilize its society by mobilizing all sorts of conspiratorial organizations.

One should not lay down a weapon of the revolution and the working class even for a moment in the on-going general advance and the targets of the class struggle remain unchanged as the revolution advances.

No matter how much water may flow under the bridge and no matter how frequently old generations are alternated, the Korean revolution should not allow any attempt to slacken or weaken the class education, concludes the editorial.
