Day of Korean People's Victory in War to Be Marked in Syria

| Pyongyang, July 3 (KCNA) -- A Syrian preparatory committee was inaugurated on June 23 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War. Saaeed Eleia Dawood, director of the Organizational Department of the Regional Leadership of the Syria's Baath Arab Socialist Party, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to dedicate special write-ups to media including organs of the Syrian party and government and organize various events on the occasion of the anniversary. |
