U.S. Compels DPRK to Access Nukes: Organization
Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- The general secretary of the France-Korea Friendship Association denounced the U.S. for its hostile policy toward the DPRK, when interviewed by a Cameroonian broadcasting service on June 14.

The general secretary said:

The DPRK has powerful military capabilities whose sole mission is deterrence against the U.S. troops in Northeast Asia.

It has deterrent means enough to cope with the threat from the U.S. and south Korea.

It shaped the policy of nuclear force as the peace has not been ensured on the Korean Peninsula.

It urged the U.S. to replace the Armistice Agreement by a peace accord so as to establish permanent peace mechanism.

The Korean issue spawned because of the U.S. persistent and deliberate hostile policy toward the DPRK, not because of the DPRK's interests in nukes.

The U.S. refuses to recognize the social system in the DPRK, infringing upon its sovereignty.

It worked out a scenario of compelling the DPRK to possess nukes and creating a terror-ridden atmosphere in south Korea by causing a chain reaction.

Meanwhile, the Nepali paper Charcha on June 17 carried an article titled "Justice wins" which said the U.S. reckless nuclear threat to the DPRK, a nuclear weapons state, pushed the latter close to a nuclear war.
