Christer Lundgren, chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee decided to introduce the heroic struggle of the army and people of the DPRK, indict the U.S. imperialists for their brutal atrocities and raise the voices calling for the withdrawal of the U.S. forces from south Korea, dismantlement of the "UN Command" and conclusion of peace agreement from June 25 to July 27.
