U.S. Urged to Respond to DPRK's Proposal
Pyongyang, June 30 (KCNA) -- Tyokansan Sanomat, the organ of the Communist Workers' Party of Finland For the Peace and Socialism, carried an article on June 24 supporting the DPRK's proposal for the conclusion of a peace treaty.

The article said the Korean Armistice Agreement (AA) has been persistently breached by the U.S. and the south Korean authorities ever since its conclusion.

The DPRK loving peace earnestly proposed replacement of the AA with a peace treaty with the U.S. in order to ensure the durable peace on the Korean Peninsula.

Had a peace treaty been concluded and the U.S. not threatened the DPRK with nukes, the latter would not have accessed nuclear weapons.

If the U.S. truly wants peace and security, it has to stop its nuclear threats and aggression war drills against the DPRK in action, not in words.

The U.S. should respond to the DPRK's proposal on concluding a peace treaty as soon as possible.
