Campaign for Publishing Declarations on Situation Gains in Scope in S. Korea
Pyongyang, June 29 (KCNA) -- A campaign of professors of south Korean universities for publishing declarations on the situation is rapidly gaining in scope and strength across south Korea in protest against the Intelligence Service's rash action of fully opening the minuets of the north-south summit to public.

Professors of Chongju University and Chungnam University on June 27 published declarations on the situation denouncing the puppet group's reckless action in the wake of the publication of such declaration by professors of Hanyang University, Sungkyunkwan University and Catholic University.

Professors of Chongju University termed the sudden opening of the minutes to public is a base act aimed to divert elsewhere public condemnation of the case of the IS's interference in the election.

It has been disclosed that the IS had interfered in elections, not abandoning the bad habit dating back to the military regime, they said, strongly protesting against these actions.

They charged that the IS spoke for the interests of the particular party and conducted propaganda by abusing power and thus distorted the will of the people.

Professors of Chungnam University condemned the IS for unhesitatingly pursuing illegal politics such as destruction of evidence, hindrance to investigation and opening to public of the minutes of the summit, a confidential document, not content with seriously violating democracy. They went on:

The present chief executive keeps mum about this action. This cannot be construed otherwise than her intention to connive at and patronize the IS's actions. She should be held responsible for the case of the IS.

Meanwhile, professors of Seoul National University, Dongguk University, Chungang University, Konkuk University and Jeonnam National University are going to publish declarations on the situation, terming the opening of the minutes an act of adding fuel to the fire, towering resentment of the people.

A professor of Chongju University said professors of the university are discussing a motion calling for dissolving the IS.
