Rodong Sinmun Calls for Establishing New International Order
Pyongyang, June 29 (KCNA) -- It is an urgent demand at the present times which brooks no further delay to put an end to the old international order and establish new and fair international relations and order, says Rodong Sinmun Saturday in a bylined article.

It goes on: There have taken place tragic developments in the international arena in recent years in which dignity and sovereignty of different countries were ruthlessly trampled down by the imperialist forces. This is attributable to the unequal world political structure in which the imperialists rule the roost.

The world politics has been decided by nuclear powers since nuclear weapons appeared on the globe. The U.S. has used such unfair political structure as a lever to dominate the world not only in the Cold War era but after its demise. It is the scenario of the U.S. to put the world under its control, containing other nuclear powers through arms race, advantageous economic potential, etc.

The U.S. often calls for "ensuring peace and security" but it is aimed to cover up its ambition for domination and maintain the unfair and unequal world political structure and international order.

The U.S. is seized with brigandish mode of thinking that its will precisely means "law" governing the world and any country behaving contrary to this "law" is liable to become a target of its military strike. This is the height of arrogance.

If a specified country is allowed to act as if it were entitled to dominate the world in breach of international law, usage and principle, it is impossible to establish a fair international order and lifestyle governed by the jungle law will prevail in international relations, truth will be ruthlessly trampled down and, finally, the world will turn into a lawless one.

The DPRK will make every possible effort in the future to establish the fair international relations and order as a member of the international community.
