U.S., S. Korean Warmongers Urged Not to Forget Shameful Defeat in Korean War

Pyongyang, June 28 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, U.S. Congress passed a resolution on designating this year as "year of Korean war veterans" and the "Korean War Memorial" was opened at the building of the U.S. Defense Department. The U.S. war-like forces claimed that the June 25 war "was a victorious war" but it has been called a "forgotten war" as it was fought between the Second World War and the Vietnam War. Now is the time to re-estimate the war as the "forgotten victory," they added. Echoing what their master uttered, the south Korean puppet forces are describing the battle in Chunchon area, the battle on the River Rakdong and the operation for landing in Inchon as "three major war victories." They are busy staging burlesques for "demonstrating strong alliance" with the U.S. and its allies.

Rodong Sinmun Friday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:

Those, who signed a paper of surrender, deplored that they waged a wrong war against wrong "enemies" in a wrong place at a wrong time. Yet, they are vociferating about "forgotten victory". This is provoking side-splitting laughter.

The strange farces being staged by them to "commemorate the anniversary of war victory" are nothing but a revelation of their provocative intention to cover up their true colors as a war provoker and overcome the shame suffered by the loser with the will to seek revenge and thus unleash the second Korean war at any cost.

The provokers should clearly know that the DPRK has tremendous nuclear force for self-defence to disable the U.S. nuclear stick at a blow and the invincible revolutionary army fully determined to wipe out the enemies at all times.

The U.S. imperialists and south Korean puppet warmongers should bear in mind the declaration of Songun Korea that June 25, the date of the outbreak of the war, will always be followed by July 27, the victory day to be celebrated by it, and a final victory will be in store for it.
