U.S. Mass Killing of Innocent People in Korean War
Pyongyang, June 27 (KCNA) -- In the Korean War (June 25, 1950-July 27, 1953), perpetrated for their military domination over the whole of Korea and the rest of Asia, the U.S. imperialists mercilessly killed many innocent people in a brutal way beyond human imagination.

Their cruelty was well verified by Walker, commander of the U.S. 8th Army, who ordered to kill at random all inhabitants in the northern half of Korea irrespective of sex or age.

During the temporary strategic retreat on the part of the Korean People's Army, the U.S. imperialists killed at least 120,000 inhabitants in Hwanghae Province (at that time), including more than 35,000 in Sinchon County alone.

The killers hammered nails on skulls of people, cut off heads with saws and hung them upside down to set fire to their heads. Not content with such a cruel way, they gouged out eyeballs of people and skinned them alive and raped girls and other women before cutting off their breasts.

Their murderous acts were all the same in south Korea, too.

Two U.S. warplanes raided Rogun-ri, Yongdong County in North Chungchong Province, killing over 400 inhabitants seeking refuge.

New York Times said that a big grave with about 3,000 children buried alive by the U.S. troops was discovered in Kwangju City.

The U.S. forces murdered more than 1,300 people in Inchon City only in a day when they landed on the city in September 1950 and fired to death some 800 in Hungjae-dong on the outskirts of Seoul in a day.

From January to March 1952, they dropped varieties of germ bombs in 169 areas of the northern half of Korea 804 times. The number of bombers involved in the drop of germ bombs amounted to nearly 480 each day.

They did not hesitate to use chemical weapons. U.S. warplanes raided Nampho City four times on May 6, 1951 to drop poison-gas bombs, leaving 1,379 people dead. The territory of the DPRK witnessed 33 rounds of massive bombing of poison-gas from February 27 to April 9, 1952, with over 15 million napalm bombs dropped.

Ahead of days of their retreat, the U.S. imperialist aggressors threatened to drop A-bomb on the northern half of Korea. And the U.S. warplanes pounced upon the bridges across the Taedong River in Pyongyang, leaving thousands of evacuees dead.

The Korean people will surely settle accounts with the U.S. for their thrice-cursed crimes.
