Papers Call for Foiling War Moves of U.S., Its Lackeys
Pyongyang, June 25 (KCNA) -- Papers dedicate editorials to June 25, the day when the U.S. imperialists started the Korean war to invade the DPRK.

Quite a long period has passed since the ceasefire, but the Korean nation has been exposed to constant danger of war posed by the U.S. imperialist aggressors, says Rodong Sinmun Tuesday.

It goes on:

The U.S. has persistently pursued a hostile policy toward the DPRK and staged reckless war drills against it together with the puppet war-like forces of south Korea, far from drawing a lesson from its bitter defeat in the Korean war.

In recent months the U.S. and the south Korean puppet regime slapped "sanctions" against the DPRK and intensified joint military exercises to invade it, pulling it up over its satellite launch for peaceful purposes and its steps for self-defense.

The U.S. and the puppet regime remain unchanged in their sinister scenarios to bring down the independent DPRK and establish corrupt "liberal democracy" on the whole of Korea. They have sought to realize them from the start of the Korean war.

The prevailing situation calls on all the Koreans to rise up in the patriotic actions to decisively smash the extremely dangerous moves of the U.S. and the south Korean trigger-happy elements for escalating confrontation with the DPRK and igniting the second Korean War, and safeguard the peace of the country and the security of the nation and achieve the historic cause of national reunification.

The Korean Peninsula is the cradle for the Korean nation, and the peace on this land can be achieved only through a struggle.

Minju Joson says that although the situation remains tense due to the escalated moves of the U.S. and south Korean warmongers for confrontation and war, the army and the people of the DPRK are sure to win a final victory in the showdown with the U.S. as they are led by the great brilliant Songun commander Kim Jong Un.
