The Breast Tumour Institute of the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital is a modern comprehensive medical service and scientific research center which specializes in prevention and treatment of women's diseases including mastopathy and breast cancer.

The institute has multi-purpose roentgen facility, ultra-modern CT and equipment for ultrasound diagnosis and electrocardiograph.

It established telemedicine service system, in particular, to conduct regular medical examination of women throughout the country and early diagnosis and prevention of breast diseases.

All the women are enjoying free medical care, receiving all the efficacious medicaments from the state. So they call this institute "Heaven of women".
