The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea in an article titled "Kim Jong Il’s feats in building Workers' Party of Korea" said he strengthened the WPK into an integral whole transparent in ideology and a genuine people's party which achieved unity and cohesion.

The feats he performed in party building and activities will shine long with the WPK winning victory after victory, the article noted.

The Brazilian Committee for Remembering Leader Kim Jong Il in an article titled "Kim Jong Il's patriotism" praised him, whom the Korean people revere as the eternal leader and general secretary of the WPK, as a paragon of genuine patriots.

The article noted that at the end of the last century he firmly defended the destiny of the country and the nation and opened an epochal phase of building a thriving socialist nation, holding high the banner of Songun.

Patriotism he personally embodied in practice is, indeed, noblest and distinguished patriotism which can be linked only with his august name in view of its essential contents and vitality, the article stressed.
