Korean Students in Japan Protest against Moves of Discriminating against Korean Schools

Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- Students of Joson University and Korean high schools under the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan held a protest action outside the building of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan on June 21. They denounced the Japanese government for excluding only the Korean schools from the tuition-free program for senior high schools.

They heightened fighting spirit, chanting slogans laying bare and denouncing the Japanese authorities' moves of discriminating against the Korean schools.

They handed over to the ministry a document calling on the Japanese government to ensure the Korean students' right to learn.
