More Rallies Held
Pyongyang, June 18 (KCNA) -- Rallies took place in South Phyongan, South Hwanghae and Kangwon provinces and Rason City on June 17 and 18 to vow to devotedly carry out the important tasks laid down in the historic appeal of the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un and to heartily respond to the letter sent to the people across the country by those reclaiming the Sepho tableland.

Present at the meetings were leading officials of party and power organs and working people's organizations, officials and other people of industrial establishments and co-op farms as well as teachers and students of universities and collages in the localities.

The appeal was conveyed at the rallies.

Then the letter was read out.

The speakers at the meetings said that the historic appeal reflects the matchless pluck and spirit of the brilliant commander of Mt. Paektu determined to build the country into the most powerful state in the world and a land of bliss for the people as early as possible.

They noted that it also reflects the great trust in the army and people who are ready to turn out as one in hearty response to any calls of the party.

They called for keeping the modern light industrial factories and local industrial factories, which were built by indigenous efforts and technology, in full-capacity operation to make a tangible contribution to the improvement of the standard of people's living, bearing in mind Kim Jong Il's patriotism.

They also called for greeting with shining labor feats the 65th anniversary of the DPRK and the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War by learning from the spirit of the soldier-builders creating the "Masikryong Speed".
