Nepali Papers Term U.S. Provoker of Korean War
Pyongyang, June 18 (KCNA) -- Nepali newspapers carried articles branding the U.S. imperialists as a provocateur of the Korean War on the occasion of the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle.

Rahasha on June 13 said in an article title "Why did the U.S. ignite Korean War":

On June 25, 1950, the U.S. instigated the south Korean puppet army to start an all-out invasion of the DPRK, sparking the Korean War, the fiercest since the end of the Second World War.

The first reason for the U.S. ignition of the Korean War was to carry out its strategy for world domination.

The U.S. regarded Korea as a military strategic vantage for advancing into the Asian Continent. Its forces landed in south Korea under the mask of "liberator" in September of 1945 and cooked up a pro-U.S. puppet regime.

The U.S. made south Korea totally dependent on it politically, economically and militarily and stepped up its moves for invading the north of Korea in a bid to occupy its whole.

The second reason for the U.S. ignition of the war was to tide over its catastrophic economic crisis.

The decline of the munitions industry after the Second World War increased the joblessness and caused a vicious cycle of overall economy.

The reduction of profits of monopolies and other reasons prompted the U.S. to militarize the economy and expand armaments, finally igniting a new war.

The third reason for the U.S. ignition of the war was to save the Syngman Rhee fascist puppet regime in south Korea from a tight corner.

It was an irrefutable historical fact that by provoking the Korean War the U.S. sought to secure a military strategic vantage for world domination and save the fate of its stooges from a dilemma.

The Nepal Today on June 10 fully disclosed the sinister aim sought by the U.S. in igniting the Korean War.
