AAPSO Denounces U.S. Hostile Policy toward DPRK
Pyongyang, June 13 (KCNA) -- The Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Organization (AAPSO) issued a statement on June 4 in denunciation of the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK.

The statement expressed full support with the DPRK in its effort for the peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.

Noting that the division and tension on the Korean peninsula are the leftover of the Cold War, the statement went on:

The Korean people are subject to the massive sacrifice due to the division of the country.

There are many separated families and their relatives desirous of reunion across the Military Demarcation Line.

Time has come for the world community to add voice and put pressure on the U.S. to make a bold decision.

No matter can be solved only with words.

We appeal to the Non-Aligned Movement and the world peace-loving people to urge the U.S. to conclude a peace agreement with the DPRK and normalize the relations with it and respect its sovereignty.

It will only coil up the tension to regularly wage the aggressive war drills by mobilizing the ultra-modern weapons on the Korean Peninsula.

It is essential to take an appropriate measure to build confidence.
